Bostik offers two complete lines of Ceramic installation products that are recognized for high quality, high performance results when installing all types of ceramic tile and natural stone.

All of the Durabond Ceramic and Hydroment Ceramic products listed meet the criteria for USGBC EQ Credit 4.1.

Durabond® D-L16™ High Strength Additive is a high solids acrylic emulsion designed to improve the performance of Durabond unmodified mortars such as D-5TM and D-2TM, as well as Durabond Fortified Tile Grouts (sanded and unsanded).

D-190 DuraPoxy™ Epoxy-Modified Grout and Mortar Admixture, when mixed with Durabond® Fortified Tile Grout (sanded only), is for interior and exterior installations to set and/or grout all ceramic, porcelain, quarry, granite, slate, marble, limestone, and dimension stone tiles. Exceeds ANSI A118.8.

D-222 DURAGUARD™ Membrane is a ready to use, latex waterproofing and anti-fracture membrane for use beneath thin-set ceramic tile installations on vertical and horizontal surfaces. D-222 DURAGUARD Membrane exceeds the requirements of ANSI A118.10 (specification for waterproof membranes beneath thin-set tile and stone) and the proposed ANSI A118 specification for crack isolation membranes. Use D-222 DURAGUARD Membrane in commercial or residential applications. Apply over concrete, cement block walls, cement backer board, gypsum board, exterior grade plywood (interior, dry installations only) and mortar beds.

Hydroment® 425 Multi-Purpose Acrylic Latex Admixture™ is a high solids acrylic emulsion designed to improve the performance of Hydroment Ceramic Tile Grout, Dry Tile Grout, Tile-Mate™ Thin Set Mortars, Single Flex F.S.™ (Fast Set) Mortar and jobsite prepared mortar beds.

Hydroment® 1900™Epoxy Modified Grout and Mortar Admixture, when mixed with Hydroment Ceramic Tile Grout (sanded only), is for interior and exterior installations to set and/or grout all ceramic, porcelain, quarry, granite, slate, marble, limestone, and dimension stone tiles. Exceeds ANSI A118.8.

Gold™ is a ready to use, latex waterproofing and anti-fracture membrane for use beneath thin set ceramic tile installations on vertical and horizontal surfaces. Gold exceeds the requirements of ANSI A118.10 (specification for waterproof membranes beneath thin set tile and stone) and the proposed ANSI A118 specification for crack isolation membranes. Use Gold in commercial or residential applications. Apply over concrete, cement block walls, cement backer board, gypsum board, exterior grade plywood (interior, dry installations only) and mortar beds.

Ultra-Set Advanced™ is a tenacious, one-part, trowel applied, elastomeric waterproofing/crack/sound isolation membrane and setting adhesive. Use Ultra-Set Advanced as a waterproofing, crack, and sound isolation membrane over properly prepared concrete; structurally-sound, exterior grade plywood (interior/dry use only); cementitious backer board; and existing, well-bonded vinyl/VCT or ceramic tile; prior to the installation of ceramic or stone tile. Ultra-Set Advanced may be used with gypsum based underlayments in dry, above grade installations with minimum compressive strengths of 2,000 psi. Follow applicable TCNA specifications for installation of tile over poured gypsum underlayments. Use Ultra-Set Advanced as a setting adhesive for ceramic or stone tiles over properly prepared concrete; structurally-sound, exterior grade plywood (interior/dry use only); cementitious backer board and existing, well-bonded vinyl/VCT or ceramic tile.

 

Bostik® Universal Primer is designed for use with Durabond 80P™ Latex Modified Self-Leveling Underlayment and all Bostik Self-Leveling Underlayments. It is a high solids latex primer that seals porous substrates and facilitates bond of the underlayment to the subfloor.
